How would you describe your current role to a HR outsider?
Giving advisory, monitoring the team and organization, identify risk - gap - opportunity. Listening to people across the organization and finding insight to understand the root causes. Create the solution for people, team and business.
What is a common misconception about the work you do?
I do more than hire and fire. I can do a lot more impact in company performance especially financial outcome.
How did you get started in your HR career?
I'm graduated in Arts and start careers in marketing then turn to HR. I use headhunter role as my VISA to touch HR job.
Describe the most impactful HR project you've personally worked on.
I setup company from scratch at Bangladesh (before have entity, complete zero)
What is one HR/future of work trend or change you're not convinced will work for SEA startups?
WFH: Startups need to build the people culture and engage everyone. Virtuals can do this, but physical is way better.
What is one HR/future of work trend or change that you hope to see more of at SEA startups?
Being more business integration, HR with P&L management, HR with M&A.

TEDx isalways the best for me!

I am based in Bangkok, and I'd love to take them to Siam Paragon.
