About Me

How would you describe your current role and the biggest challenges you face?

I am head-spearing digital marketing initiatives within my business units company, working with products, tech, sales, and few more stakeholders. Currently I am facing a huge issue when it comes to innovation as our change management in the company is quite rigid.

What is a common misconception about the work you do?

Every investment in marketing should make a direct sales impact.

How did you get started in your marketing career?

Coming from content writer, with evolving interest to expand my knowledge.

Describe the most impactful marketing campaign/project you've personally worked on.

This was when I was working at CROWDE in 2019, a fintech with a mission to help farmers getting inclusive financing options. The idea is to give the message to our audience how painful is food/agriculture distribution flow that would impact many stakeholders, including us as end customers, especially farmers as the key role of the ecosystem.

The angle of our work is to give transparent process of what is currently going on, how we can improve, and how CROWDE as contributed to fix this. In the end, the invitation is open to ask audience to join. This content has been distributed across channels, mainly focus on our interactive landing page, which getting a very good response from our audience, not only on positive reviews but also increase of our user base and GMV.

What is one marketing trend or change you're not convinced will work for SEA tech brands?

I am seeing branding is something underrated yet not getting a good focus from all marketers. I mean everything is changing, keeping a good branding is one thing, but evolving into trends is something needs to be considered. Nokia failed. Yahoo failed. Don't be one.

What is one marketing trend or change that you hope to see more of at SEA tech brands? And, why?

Community marketing is one of a constant horse-train that will still work in the future. The media changes, but the way people keep sharing something will remain.

What is your favourite marketing resource that you would recommend to this community? And, why?

Meet-ups! Where people engage directly. A source to read is also a way for people who cannot join will also get benefit on being in the community.

Lastly, where are you based, and where would you take friends visiting your city for the first time?

I'm based on Jakarta. Maybe the zoo :D
